How to download your video on iPhone
Follow these steps to save your video from a Google Drive link to your phone and camera roll. Options depend on whether you use Safari only or the Google Drive app.
Using Safari (no Google Drive app)
- Tap the link in your email
- The video opens in Safari
- Tap the video you want to download
- Tap the download button at the top of the screen
- Tap "Download" on the Google security confirmation screen
- Tap the download circle icon next to the address bar
- Tap the video that just downloaded
- Tap the dropdown arrow at the top of the video
- Tap the share icon
- Tap "Save Video" to save it to your camera roll
Using the Google Drive app (if installed)
- Tap the link in your email
- The video opens in the Google Drive app
- Tap the three dots (...) next to the video name
- Tap "Send a Copy"
- Tap "Save Video"
- A "Preparing to export" message will appear briefly
- The video will save directly to your camera roll in the Photos app
